Do you rent or lease moving containers?
No. United Container Depot sells containers for moving and relocation. You purchase the container and own it outright instead of paying ongoing container rent or working toward a rental pickup date.
Why buy instead of renting for a move?
Buying can make sense when the schedule is uncertain, packing will take weeks or months, there is a gap between properties, or you want storage at the destination afterward. How long can I keep the container?
Because you buy it, there is no rental return date. You may keep using it as long as you own it, but zoning, permits, homeowners-association rules, setbacks and property restrictions still control where it may remain.
Can it be placed in my driveway?
Often, yes. The driveway must be firm, level and accessible to a tilt-bed delivery truck. We review clearance, slope and turning room before scheduling.
Will you move the loaded container to my new home?
We sell and deliver the container. Transporting it after loading requires a qualified container carrier and suitable access at both properties. Ask your specialist about the options available in your area before purchase.
Which size works for a household move?
