Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website, requests for quotes, purchases and communications with United Container Depot.
Effective date: July 20, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By using this website, requesting a quote or purchasing a container from United Container Depot, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If a written quote, invoice, order confirmation, warranty or other signed agreement contains different terms, that written agreement controls for the applicable transaction.
2. Quotes, inventory and purchases
Website prices and availability are estimates and may vary by ZIP code, container size, condition, configuration, local inventory, delivery distance, taxes, permits and site requirements. A website submission is a request for information and is not an accepted order. Final product specifications, condition, price, payment terms, delivery scope and estimated timing will be confirmed in writing.
Containers may be new, one-trip or used and may show wear, repairs, surface rust, dents, patches, color variation, markings or other condition-appropriate characteristics. Photographs on the website are representative unless a written agreement identifies a specific unit. Customers should review the written condition description and any inspection materials before purchase.
Orders, deposits, cancellations, returns and refunds are governed by the written quote, invoice or purchase agreement accepted for that transaction. Do not send payment until the seller, unit, delivery location and payment instructions have been confirmed through an authorized United Container Depot representative.
3. Delivery, placement and customer responsibilities
Delivery timing is an estimate and may change because of inventory, depot processing, weather, carrier availability, route restrictions, site conditions or events outside reasonable control. Specialty units may require additional inspection, preparation or testing. Refrigerated containers ordinarily require a depot testing period before release, and the applicable report and warranty terms will be stated in writing.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the customer is responsible for confirming property authorization, permits, zoning, utility clearance, ground preparation, drainage and a safe delivery route and placement area. The carrier or driver may decline an unsafe or inaccessible delivery. Additional charges caused by inadequate access, waiting time, redelivery, relocation or site remediation may apply when disclosed in the transaction documents.
Customers must not rely on general website content as engineering, legal, zoning, electrical, refrigeration, hazardous-material or site safety advice. Obtain qualified professional approval when the intended use or local rules require it.
4. Warranties and claims
Any warranty is limited to the warranty expressly provided in the applicable written transaction documents. To the extent permitted by law, no additional warranty is created by website descriptions, illustrations, planning tools or general guidance. Report delivery damage, shortages or a materially incorrect unit promptly and follow the inspection and claim procedure in the order documents.
5. Calls and text-message terms
United Container Depot may operate a customer communications program for quote responses, product availability, purchase or service updates, delivery coordination, appointment reminders and customer support. When you affirmatively opt in to receive text messages, you authorize United Container Depot and its communications providers to send text messages to the mobile number you supplied.

Our use of your information is described in the Privacy Policy.

United Container Depot is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages arising solely from use of, or inability to use, the website. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
